Oftentimes, when Jaime was bored yet had nothing to do, he would simply wander the seemingly endless fields. It was some time around noon, he wasn't sure of specifics, but the sun was high in the sky and bringing warmth to the crops of corn. Corn, corn, and more... corn.
Not that he didn't like corn... there was so much a person could do with corn. So many different things that could all be made, and even prove useful, all from the same crop! Although, the tallness of the corn, towering over the young boy, made out each step to appear the same dull sight.
Marrok was somewhere nearby, he figured. Likely the wolf was hunting through the fields of corn. For what, Jaime couldn't be entirely sure. Birds, he supposed... or whatever it was that the canine could find out here and manage to prey on. Rabbits?
A singular, orange flower poked out of the ground. The dark-haired child had nearly stepped on the poor little thing, he noticed it in time though, and plucked it out of its place in the ground himself. Lifting the flower to his nose, he sniffed the fragrance. "You smell nice, little guy."

"But what makes you think that flowers are male?" Lilith's voice would come from behind him. She had been looking for him for quite some time now, or rather, on her way to meet him. Finding him wasn't hard for someone with telepathy like her. She couldn't read minds, no, but she did have a sixth sense for finding people's locations.
Lilith stood, nude as always. Her hands were held behind her back in a rather childish position with her right hand holding onto her left wrist. She smiled playfully at Jaime. She was always glad to see him. The two of them had been friends for a while, as he was the first child to join up with Lilith in the cornfields. Unlike Lilith, he had grown older since then. Lilith was physically the same age as she had been when she was first killed before departed soul had been intercepted by Satan on it's path to Heaven.
"Good day, Jaime," Lilith said, holding her warm smile. "Did you forget about lunch? I hope you did your prayer already."

Damon followed behind Lilith, being the good pawn that he was. He Tried staying by her side as much as he could. He was somewhat in love with her, she was the vessel for their lord. She had granted him with the abilities he had now. Though, he kept to her side, he knew that anyone would follow her. He just felt that he stuck by her side the most.
He looked over as he saw Jaime looking at a flower in the field. To him the flower was an eye swore. It was to bright for his taste and if it was up to him, he would of crushed the flower. He nodded a greeting at Jaime, letting their savior speak. He would let them converse before joining in the conversation. He stood behind Lilith on her right side, making sure that nothing was going to happen to her.

"The flower didn't seem offended. But, I suppose I could have called it 'little lady'," Jaime smiled innocently as he lowered his flower, glancing back at Lillith. She wasn't the only one who had come, either, he noticed as Damon followed along just behind her.
Lunch? As it happened, the boy had not eaten yet. The sight of corn had not triggered his appetite. It never did. It was just corn. And he had been more focused on what his wolf might catch, than on lunch. It was funny, the thought now did make Jaime feel slightly on the hungry side, but he ignored it.
"I prayed today. But I wasn't really hungry," when the green-eyed child got distracted, and went wandering through the fields, he usually forgot about the simple things... such as eating. Missing lunch hardly bothered him, however, since he didn't normally eat much anyway. Some days he forgot to pray too... but that was only sometimes, and he never told anyone.

Lilith nodded and sighed in relief as he said he prayed. That was a good thing. Bad things happened when one had little faith in Satan. He wouldn't bless them as much, and particularly the one who forgot to pray. Not to mention, the children did all have one objective, and if they didn't all work towards that, it would take much achieve their goals.
Lilith looked at him carefully. With her telepathy, she was prone to notice whether or not people were lying. She couldn't read minds, but she could decipher a truth from a lie. She wouldn't always tell someone when they were lying, but it helped her to determine how trustworthy people were as well as whether. Ending up on Lilith's shitlist was never a good idea.
"Good... Because if you don't pray, you'll be punished," Lilith warned him. Punishments could be severe, but it was better than falling out of His favor. She had to get the message across somehow. Lilith would then sit down next to Jaime with her legs in Indian fold.
"But you already know that."

Damon stayed standing as the two sat on the ground. He wanted to be able to protect the vessel. He had a slight love for the girl that he would never act on. He felt that it would be disrespectful if he did such a thing. If anything he would wait on her to act on it first.
He looked over at Jaime again curious as to where his friend was. The wolf and him seemed to be inseparable. "Hey, Jaime, where is your companion at?" He raised an eyebrow, very curious as to see what his answer would be. "Ya'll seem to be stuck to the hip. Never thought I would find one without the other."

Whatever the punishment was for neglecting to pray, Jaime had yet to experience it. At least, he was fairly certain about that... A punishment would have to be noticeable, in order to be a punishment, wouldn't it? "Yeah, I know..." he told the girl as her eyes seemed to study him. Still, even though he knew he wasn't supposed to forget, sometimes praying to Satan got bumped down his list of things to do for the day, until it was forgotten.
The boy glanced up at Damon now, who was standing by Lillith's side like some sort of silly guard. ...She didn't need to be guarded, the girl couldn't even be killed as far as Jaime could see. Her own father killed her and Satan brought her back!
"Marrok? He's hunting, I guess, or just wandering the fields trying to find some sport," Jaime gave a small shrug at that, and sat down cross-legged as well. "He knows where to find me."

Lilith would shift her position to lay down on her back. She'd cross her arms behind her head to use them as a headrest to stay a bit more comfortable. She turned her head slightly to look at Jaime. She grinned at him with a smirk. She liked him a lot, but what she didn't understand was his own distaste for his family, particularly, his sibling.
"I talked to your brother yesterday. He's... cute," she'd say with a giggle. The funny thing about it was, despite their physical age difference, Lilith and Dmitri were the same age.
"I can sense it in his soul... He'd be helpful to us."

Damon stuck his hand into his pockets, seemed they both were getting comfortable. He was comfortable just standing there, scouting the area. He knew that Lilith would be able to sense someone coming. Though if anything, he would be the first one to act on it. He didnt like Lilith wasting her time with some of the lesser beings.
He nodded at Jaime as he said his canine partner was out hunting. It was interesting at how his power came out. He wondered when it would return though. He was a fan of dogs and found their bond really intriguing. "Well, make sure you keep yourself up. Hopefully, your friend will be able to bring you something back."

"My... you mean that kid, Dmitri?" Jaime regarded Lillith with a look of uncertainty. The news didn't please him, that was for sure. Nor did her comment about the older teenager being cute... "I didn't even know he was back," That was the truth. Dmitri had been shipped off to military school, and was supposed to be studying there still, as far as Jaime understood it.
The annoyance he was beginning to feel toward Lillith's giggling and further comments, took up all his attention. The young boy hardly even remembered that Damon was there in the first place. He stared down at the girl, wondering how she'd met his brother and what he could have possibly said to her that would make Lillith think he could be any help to them at all. "It was his looks that attracted you to him. Dmitri doesn't help anyone, he wouldn't be helpful to our cause," Jaime said plainly, with more or less a blank expression on his face. He thought little and less of that brother of his.

It seemed to Lilith that Jaime didn't understand how important his brother was in the scheme of things. Perhaps it didn't matter. Perhaps Lilith was the only one who could know. After all, she was one of the few children in the world with such a strong link to Satan. She could hear him. He could talk to her. He worked through her, and not just through subtle whispers as he did to the other children.
"Your brother is special," Lilith would then say to him. It was true. Lilith could not deny it and would not deny it. She knew what was necessary. The devil had taught her so. Lilith had a feeling that Jaime wouldn't want to believe anything that she said anyway. There really wasn't much of a reason for her to continue explaining to him. nonetheless, she'd probably try.
"He has an important role to play."

Damon let them have their little conversation. He had nothing to do with it cause he didnt really deal with anyone that was not a part of their cause. He simply just kept to himself for the time, turning his back to them and staring off into the distance. He didnt mind being ignored he was only a pawn in all of this anyway.
He began to walk around the two moving through the corn. Things had seemed rather simple to him with his new life. He felt like he had a greater understanding of things. He also felt that all this was for a greater purpose. Sticking around to see how everything played out was his current goal, that and to serve their lord and his vessel.

"Whatever," Jaime said with feigned indifference. He stretched out his legs and rolled onto his back. Looking up past the corn and toward the blueness of the sky as he lay there.
Did it even matter if a person could be helpful, when you already know that the very same person will refuse to be helpful regardless? Maybe Lillith wasn't as good at judging other children as she claimed to be, since Jaime didn't believe one word of what she was spouting off about Dmitri.
His eyes closed as he lay in the corn field. Relaxing, it seemed, or as if he was trying to go to sleep so they wouldn't bother him anymore. But it was neither of those. The boy was merely doing it so that the others couldn't see the annoyance clear in his eyes. Jaime didn't trust Dmitri, and he wasn't sure if he would even stick around if his brother ever truly joined them.

Lilith sat up. She was actually quite surprised that neither Jaime nor Damon were asking more questions about her own intentions. Therew ere actually a lot of them. Lilith wanted Dmitri for a number of reasons, but they didn't even seem to care. She wanted them to care, but she didn't want to come right out and tell them either. Truth be told, the two people she was with right now were two of her favorite people to hang out with, though she considered every child in the corn to be her friend.
Lilith folded her legs again, crossing them once more in an indian-style cross fashion. She turned to Jaime and propped up her chin over her right hand. She examined him carefully wondering what exactly it was that he was thinking. He was such a funny little guy. She had always liked him, and the funny thing was, unlike when they met, they were almost the same age now.
"I'm going to use him to spawn our new Lord. The Antichrist," Lilith would answer. "He will bring about a new age for all of us."

Damon continued to walk around them. He was still listening to the conversation, but he didnt have anything to add. He didnt think that it was a real important conversation to himself. Lilith wanted all the kids to join them so why would he be new, and why should it be so interesting.
Thats when Lilith said that she was wanting him to spawn a child. He thought what she said was outlandish. He couldnt believe that she was considering that. He quickly turned in her direction and spouted off. "Your going to bring an outsider in to have a child. What makes him so special. He have plenty of more worthy people, like myself to choose from. Sounds like to me you just have a crush."
He had angrily flared up, not liking the idea. Well he had reason since he wanted to have such an honor. Plus having an outsider in that wasnt for their cause could disrupt things. Even if it did happen, he could kill the spawn of them. He shook his head and walked deeper into the corner leaving them to go walk around for a bit.
