Lilith didn't find what he had so say to be insulting, of course, part of that likely had to do with the fact that this wasn't her body anyway, only a body that had been convenient to attain and seemed to be somewhat appealing to her. In any case, she'd just listen to what it was he had to say.
A boring life? Sure, Lilith knew that this girl's life was shitty, and she assumed that every child in this town had a shitty life, just as she had before she was murdered by her stepfather. It was a reasonable assumption. All children were slaves to their parents. All children had to grow, and upon doing so, lose their innocence. That was how the world operated. That was God's plan. But it wasn't necessary. Adults weren't necessary, and death wasn't necessary. It could all be fixed.
"Then I take it your life... is just amazing here?" Lilith would ask him.

"I don't live here anymore. At least not technically. I only come home for summer vacation, otherwise I stay at a boarding school." Even though the military school he was at happened to be hell on Earth, this place was nothing compared to there. Especially because of the situation the town was in. Anywhere was better than Jamestown.
"If anything, the children are stopping me from going home. Honestly, I don't see how fair it is to oppress me by keeping me here. Isn't that against what they are for?" The teen would ask, though it was only a rhetorical question. If anything, he was just thinking aloud.
"I gave up on this shithole long ago. The people, the place, the aura about it. Fucking blows."

Lilith listened to what he had to say. Apparently, he was upset about being in this town as well. He was ready to leave and to go back to wherever it was he was from. This was something Lilith couldn't identify with. Before she had died and up until the present, she had never been outside of Jamestown. She hardly understood the fact that there was a world outside of the cornfields. She never cared to go past that, and her soul was permanently attached to it. At one point in time, she had simply been a poltergeist, but now, she was something much more.
"Did you ever try to leave?" Lilith would ask him curiously. She raised an eyebrow curious as to how he would answer. She had never seen him before in the cornfields, and if he did go in there, certainly she would try to stop him.
"Maybe... they would let you go if you explained the urgency... and you're a child yourself too. Plus, worst case scenario, you have guns, right?"

Has he ever tried to leave? There was a simple answer for that particular question. "No." Nor would he try, not as of yet, not until he knew exactly how to escape from Jamestown without being turned into one of those mindless brats. The thought alone made him want to throw up. He could never imagine being one of them.
"Though, everyone who's tried never came back. Not all of them were adults. So that proves the point that it doesn't matter what age you are, you're not going to escape from here. Not without them coming to get you."
There teen looked over at the girl with a suspicious look on his face. Why was she interrogating him so thoroughly? It seemed as though she always had another question for him followed by another. Although he still didn't think much of it by this point, he was just starting to get annoyed.
"That's besides the point. So what are you trying to get at? You're asking an awful lot of questions."

He had never even tried before? She already knew that. Everything he said was true. Children who did try to leave either ended up joining the Children of the Corn, or usually never returned for some reason or another, though there were some instances of children coming back in the past, it was somewhat rare.
"Well, maybe the reason they didn't come back is because they found something better out there. Maybe they didn't want to come back. I know if I got out of here, I'd never return," Lilith would say to him. This was Lilith's truth, or at least, it was her truth at one point in time. She remembered when her stepfather first moved in how much she wished to escape Jamestown. It was almost ironically that now she was tied to it for an eternity.
"If no one comes back, that doesn't mean they couldn't escape. It just means they didn't want to be here. Your logic is terrible."

"Whatever." He could care less about what she thought or anyone else for that matter. He had already taken those factors under consideration, but didn't really think much of it. Anyways, why was he still talking to this chick with the enormous forehead again? She had nothing to offer, except her annoying opinion. In his own opinion, he believed she should get back in the kitchen where females belonged, instead of trying to talk smart.
"Think whatever you want, I could give a shit what you think." The boy said rather bluntly, though he was being quite honest. It was better than lying to her and pretending he cared. Yet it was already obvious he could care less, but he always thought it was better to make his thoughts known.
"Eh. Well see you later forh- err. Samantha." He had almost slipped and called her forehead girl. Oh well, it didn't matter for now he had taken a couple of steps away, as if to leave her behind.

It seemed that he was just now ready to go his own separate way. He had insulted her quite a bit, and he would be a hard to change... but if he did end up joining there group, over time he would change. Over time he would grow. Everyone did. That's what the Children of the Corn worked on. The proper development of healthy children, right?
"Bye Dmitri... and I owe you doughnuts," Lilith would then say. Granted, the real Samantha would remember nothing of this, but it hardly mattered. for now. Lilith was only trying to seem perfectly natural before him. Following this, she would wave to him and then turn around and walk in the opposite direction. Truth be told, Lilith was having a lot of fun with this. There was nothing so enjoyable as gaining new followers, and she had easily made a game out of it.
In any case, Lilith made her way into an alley, being mindful to be sure that no one was watching. At that point, she'd exit the body. Samantha exhaled a black smoke which would then vanish and make it's way back to the cornfields just outside of town. Of course, being left behind, Samantha was dazed and confused. She had no idea of where she was or how she got here... and her head was throbbing with pain. Her last memory, was waking up from her sleep close to the cornfield with a little girl kissing her lips.
"How... odd."

The teen waved his hand in the air rather nonchalantly, never turning around to face the girl again. Where all the girls in town as annoying as that one? From what he's seen, they probably were. After all, girls around Jamestown weren't used to cultured people so maybe that's why they were so dull...so lame. How boring.
As for the whole doughnut thing, he'd hold her to it eventually. Maybe. Now when a thought of that giant forehead came into his mind, he had instantly reconsidered.
"That chick had a huge forehead. Fuck." The teen said out loud finally, the gravity of such a thing finally hitting him fully. He shook his head in disappointed. How could have he spoken to her that long? What was wrong with him?
Either way he was headed in the direction of home.

That hadn't gone well as far as getting him to join up with her group. She wasn't sure if a seed had been planted or not. In fact, she didn't think that anything had been planted at all. He had rejected all forms of reason. He had his own beliefs, and she strongly disagreed with them, though at this point, nothing much further could be done. She'd have to continue watching him from elsewhere.
In any case, Lilith's body reformed nude just on the outskirts of the town under the cover of the cornfield. She could easily hide behind this cover. However, she'd take a singular step out. She'd stand just outside of the cornfield. On the road up ahead, she could see him. There, Dmitri walked, his back to her, just about 40 meters ahead of her. It was almost as though it were luck she had reformed herself where he was.
Come play with me! She would project her thought into his mind. This time, however, it would sounds as a foreign voice to him. Her voice.
Lets play in the fields!

The teen had been minding his business as he walked toward home up until a voice entered his head. It was that of a young girl, yet creepy, inviting him to his doom. Not exactly, but still, going into the cornfields was definitely doomed enough for him to deem it such. Rather than being afraid, he would simply sigh and place his groceries upon the ground.
Of all days, he decided to leave his winchester at home, how annoying. Though, this didn't stop him from pulling out one of his pistols, holding it at his side. "You're Lilith, aren't you?" The teen would ask, knowing full well about the stories. He was not ignorant.
To think, Lilith herself would bother herself with him. How annoying. Especially since he had been attempting to fly under the radar. "Why don't you come out? We'll play then." He said with a rather annoyed look on his face, cocking his gun, readying himself. This bitch wasn't about to turn his brain to mush, not today, not when he had a box of delicious doughnuts to eat.
Damn bitches...today was no his day.

Lilith's entreatment hadn't done much good as of yet. He asked her to come out, and though she did want to play with him, she didn't like leaving the cornfields to go into Jamestown much without a shell to hide in. She was much too recognizable. Everyone's eyes would turn to her when they noticed a little nude girl walking through town as casually as she did. Yet, she still wanted to meet him.. in person. This was why she revealed her true form to him.
It seemed everyone else in town had yet to notice her. All the other traffic on the road continued upon its merry way, though it wasn't like Lilith had made herself noticeable to everyone else, only the one she called out. Other people were much too busy to take notice to her... and there wasn't even that much traffic. However, Dmitri still had yet to notice her.
Where are you looking? I'm behind you, she would tell him with a giggle. Awww! C'mon! I can't go out there! Those people are scary! How about we meet in the middle? Outside the cornfield, and outside of town?

The male quickly turned whipped around, pistol raised high, as if he were going to gun whatever it was that was behind him. Now that he mentioned it, that voice wasn't exactly out loud either. It was almost if it were coming from inside his head, it was disgusting...
Gun pointed in the direction she claimed she was in, the teen would slowly focus in on the figure of a nude girl. She was rather young, a few years younger than himself. It was kind of odd to see someone without clothes in the daylight like that, almost as if she was begging him to come to her. How lewd.
However, what this...girl or whatever she was, had been suggesting wasn't too bad. As long as he didn't have to step foot into the cornfields, he was relatively safe. Yes. That was a plan.
"Alright. Fine. Though, by the looks of things, the games you have in mind might be a little perverted." He said with a raised eyebrow, eying up the naked girl with a clear look of disdain upon his face.
He'd walk toward her, gun still in hand yet at his side. He wouldn't let go of it, not for a second. His will, it was unyielding...He was ready for anything, unafraid.

As he made his way toward her, she wouldn't go too far. Though she had said meet in the middle, she didn't mean in the middle of where they had both previously been. She simply meant in between the corn field and the town. This entire area. Instead, she only took a couple steps forward. She could quickly retreat into the cornfield if she so decided to. This was for her own safety.
As he came toward her, she did notice his gun. She didn't have a fear of guns that much. She knew it couldn't kill her. Yet, all the while, if she got hit by them, she knew it would be painful. She hated going through unnecessary pain, though she didn't think she'd have to provoke him.
"Hey! Dmitri! It's so nice to meet you! I've heard so much about you from your brother!" Lilith said energetically. Her knees were almost quivering with excitement.

The teen had finally reached her though, he kept his distance by a few feet, not needing to get any closer than what he already was. He'd look over his shoulder, making sure no one was going to sneak up behind him. He also made sure to be facing in the direction of the cornfield, refusing to turn his back to it.
"Since when does that little fag talk about me?" He said rather plainly, knowing full well that Jaime never mentioned him. At least he would assume Jaime never mentioned him. After all, he doesn't even accept Dmitri as his brother nor did he ever show any attempt to love him. Their kinship was a farce. That's all it was.
"Whatever, that hardly matters. What did you want? And why are you naked?" Not that he was complaining. He could never complain if there was a naked female before him. Although she was a bit...young. It was almost gross. Not to mention...she was the one they talked about, wasn't she?
That Lilith girl...

He was so straight to the point. It was almost as though he had no interest in spending any time with her or playing with her in any way shape or form. Her expression now was almost one of sorrow. She did think that it would be fun just to hang out with him. She liked older kids after all, maybe not adults, but older kids were different. They were fun.
"Hehe," she raised her right hand to her mouth to muffle her giggling for a moment or two. She'd then lower her hands and place them on her hips.
"Why are you in such a bad mood? And why don't you want to play with me? Do you like tag?"
