"The Antichrist?" Jaime was uncertain about that, about this plan, about... everything. And Damon had a point, too. What made Dmitri so special? He was an outsider, he wouldn't agree to join them, Jaime knew he never would... Although, now the thought brought a feeling of uncertainty to the boy. If his brother came over to their side... ugh...
Jaime liked Lillith, he really did, but he just couldn't accept the plans she was making. They were friends, or at least, they used to be. Now he wasn't sure anymore. It felt like she wanted to switch him out for his older brother Dmitri. Didn't she know that by accepting Dmitri into the cult, she was effectively pushing Jaime out?
"Do what you want," he said finally, standing up. He hardly looked at Lillith, as he got up to leave. "I'm gonna go find Marrok," Jaime turned away from the two of them, and left them to search for his wolf as he said he would. His wolf was about the only creature whose company never bothered him.

Lilith watched as both of the two boys began to walk away. She had no idea what was wrong with them. Were they simply leaving because they had little interest in discussing the group's future plans... or was it something else? She couldn't tell. They were such a mystery to her. Lilith figured she shouldn't bother herself about it.
Instead, she simply collapsed onto her back once again. She wasn't about to chase after either of the boys. They could do as they pleased so long as they weren't standing in her way, and it wasn't as though they could go somewhere else or anything like that. They were stuck in the corn for the most part. Leaving the cornfields would be close to impossible for them, moreso for Damon than for Jaime. However, she didn't think they'd ever want to leave, especially when they could stay here in the corn and play with her and never have to grow up.
Lilith turned to look at Jaime as he walked away from her. Her smile had died down just a bit. She wasn't in such a good mood now that the two were going to leave her laying here in the corn by herself. Still, she'd reach Jaime's mind. She wasn't done talking.
Don't forget what we stand for, Lilith would tell both Jaime and Damon.
We will create the perfect world for children everywhere. All that we are doing now is a means to an end which we all so desire.

Damon continued walking through the fields. He was cursing on the inside, not wanting to hear any more about Lilith bringing their lord in this world with another person. He figured that it would break the whole community they had apart. Things werent looking good with this in his eyes. Yet he knew that maybe Lilith knew what she was doing though, even though he didnt think this was the way to do it.
An outsider could not possibly help bring in their lord. He couldnt maintain the fortitude to do such a thing. If not a child of the corn, then at least an adult. Though he doubted that Lilith would really listen to what he had to say. So he decided to leave Jaime and Lilith to discuss things.
Thats when he heard her voice in his head. He thought about what she was saying but still didnt think it was right. If it was for the children then it should be by the children of the corn and no one else. An outsider helping to conceive their lord was impure in his eyes. He didnt think that even HE would be pleased with that. Yet, she was his vessel.
He sighed and turned around heading back the way he came. He ended up back to Lilith but didnt see Jaime in sight. He kept his hands in his pockets, just looking emotionless at Lilith. "I dont agree with this. I would, possibly rather die then let that happen. So if this is what you want and what he will allow then seen me to him now."

Even after Jaime had left... he still heard Lillith's voice in his head. Telling him not to forget. He didn't forget. It seemed more like she had forgotten. But, was that even possible? She was the closest person, living or otherwise, to their god, wasn't she? Not that that had ever mattered to him... He had stuck by her because she had been his friend, and not for any other reason.
A means to an end... The boy didn't know what to think anymore. Lillith couldn't convince him that this was the right course of action, she couldn't. He was far too stubborn to accept this. Maybe he could kill Dmitri... it was worth a shot. If Jaime died trying, what did it matter anyway? Without slowing, he continued to walk through the fields of corn toward Marrok.
On the other hand, Jaime had always been more of the lone wolf type... If he wanted, he thought, maybe he could spend the days alone with no one but his wolf pal for a little while. He wasn't afraid to be on his own, not when his wolf was by his side to protect him from harm.

Lilith could feel Jaime making the distance between the two of them growing greater and greater. He was obviously leaving and it didn't seem like he was going to be coming back any time soon. She sighed. he had been upset. That much was easy to tell, but she couldn't worry about him any longer. She knew he remembered that they'd be friends forever no matter what. That was the point of this group after all.
Lilith stood up now. At least it seemed that Damon was coming back. She didn't really feel like being alone right now, not that she ever minded being alone. The cult was intended to make them all closer together, not spread them further apart. She realized that she needed to emphasize that point more than anything else.
She listened to Damon's words. He felt that death was okay for him? That was terrible, especially when their main goal was overall immortality. She'd make her way over to him and finally lean forward to hug her arms around his back. She'd squeeze him tightly in a bearhug and kiss his cheek.
"You can't die. I need you."

Damon looked down as she hugged him. He was shocked to actually see such affection from her. He hadnt seen this from her ever since she had left this world and then came back. Though she was a different being this time around, it seemed that she was the same person for the most part.
He was becoming slightly confused, looking off in the distance now. He cared about Lilith a lot. He cared about their purpose and about the other children. Yet if things didnt feel right to him then he would sacrifice himself to their lord. He was accepting of this, though immortal was a better thought and to always have Lilith there, to always play with and talk to.
He brought his gaze back to her, his red eyes almost being caring but still somewhat stern. He cared deeply for her but he didnt think she realized that. He wouldnt want to mess up what ever she had planned but if he had to he would take himself out of the picture. "If you need me then why do you need someone else to bring our lord into this world. I dont see how he can be so special, when I thought we were all special. Im just against an outsider having the honor of helping conceive our lord."

Lilith held Damon tightly. She wasn't going to let go of him. She pressed her bare body against him with no intention of letting him go any time soon. She wanted to make sure that he wouldn't break away from her until she had finished talking and things were alright and fixed between them. That was the only way she'd let him go without him having to force her off.
"Dmitri is needed because his soul is immovable," Lilith would answer him. This was all she really had to say, but she wasn't sure Damon would understand.
"He was the chosen one, but he is incapable of joining us."

Damon sagged his shoulders as he felt her hug him tighter. Her bare skin not really touching him. He really didnt feel right about this, the situation as a whole. He turned his gaze back away as she spoke. Those not being the words he wanted to hear. His anger growing ever more, along with his jealousy. The words still didnt explain why he was so different from himself or any of the males in their cult.
Things didnt look promising, and he knew that this could possibly cause more unrest in the group of kids. His thoughts going on what would or could possibly happen. He really couldnt allow this to happen. If she felt this way and wouldnt stir away from this then he would have to take things into his own hands.
He figured that he would try and find Jaime later and go to seek out this Dmitri guy. If he could take him out of the picture then maybe she would give up on this plan that could possibly break up the group. He shook his head as he spoke back to her.
"If what you say is true, and you still want to do this then kill me now. If the thought of it made two of your friends upset, then think of what it could do to the group as a whole. I would think after what this just caused you would reconsider. If you dont kill me or change your plans then I will go after this guy myself. This way you feel for this person could also be felt from other children apart of us. I just dont see this going well at all and that the children will not understand as we did. This will most likely be the end of us, leaving you and our lord left standing. So please decide carefully."

Lilith would nod to what he had said. It seemed that things would likely get out of hand with him. She didn't want Damon to end up leaving the group. If he or Jaime left, she'd feel pretty empty, though she didn't think that all he had said was true. If the two of them left, that wouldn't be every member of the group. That would only be two of them. Sure, it'd be the two closest to her demonic little heart, but still only two.
She still held him tightly and kissed him on the cheek once again. She sighed. It didn't seem like she had much of a choice of what to do if she wanted to keep Damon on her side. She had already figured out a plan in her head.
"It means a lot to me... that I have you on my side. I'm not sure of how things will end... But to keep you by my side, I will mate with you... here and now in place of Dmitri..."

He felt her soft lips against his cheek yet again. Making him blush a little this time around but he still had the stern look. He was hoping that she would understand that more kids could follow if the news broke out of who the boy was. Most kids might not approve of any of this and possibly feel the same way.
He didnt want the kids pitied against each other. They shouldnt have a war between them, they should be focusing their efforts on the adults and not each other. If he lived through this then, and if there was a war between the kids, then he would do what he had to do to end it.
Yet, when she said her next statement, he was in complete and utter shock. He did think, he, along with a few others, should have been considered over an outsider, no matter their soul. Though, her choosing him right on the spot was the last thing he expected. He looked at her with a somewhat shocked look on his face.
"Lilith, are you sure you want to do this? Im honored but other then an outsider, isnt there someone as a better choose. If I am then I will. To help bring our lord to this world, is something I have to say I like more then being immortal. Though not more then I would like to share that moment with you."
He brought his arms up to hug her waist. He kissed her forehead, and relaxed a little more. This was a moment that he never thought would come. A moment that he thought would be offered to another male of the cult.

"The only way that I think you'll feel completely secure is if you're the one to do it," Lilith answered him. That much was the truth. She could easily tell that he had some kind of feelings for her which were much stronger than a casual sense of friendship. He wanted more than that. Though more than friendship wasn't what the cult was about. They were to love every member equally, and sex was meant only for procreation, nothing more and nothing less.
"I know that if you're the one, you'll protect me with everything that you have," she said once more. Though she knew the baby couldn't possibly be as strong with him as it would be with Dmitri. She'd gently guide him down to the ground with her to where they were sitting together.
"Take me..."

Damon drifted down to the ground with her as she brought him down with her. Shocked at how things had changed so distractedly, and still in his favor. He really didnt know how to feel about all of this and yet he knew that he shouldnt really feel anything for this. Sex wasnt meant to be enjoyed by them, just a way to help populate their numbers. Though here he was almost enjoying it to the point where he felt more human.
He didnt know what would really come of this, though this is what he felt was the right way. He didnt think that nothing wrong would come of this really, or that foul play would be made. He trusted Lilith with his life, which is why he joined her. Would she betray his trust in her? He didnt think so, and if she did, how would he know.
He feel onto her naked form as she laid upon the ground. He looked into her eyes, making sure that she was really fine with this. He then leaned in to kiss her and give her what she wanted.
